TRIPP KEISTER, Camp Director
Tripp Keister is in his fourth year as the Head Baseball Coach and Associate Director of Sports at Wesley at Wesley College. In 2006, Tripp was named PAC Coach of the Year. In 2007, he guided Wesley to the most wins ever in school history. Wesley moved into the competitive Capital Athletic Conference in 2008, but still managed to post 27 wins, including a 10-8 mark in the conference.  His team finished eighth in Division III in stolen bases with 120, while the pitching staff was 15th, allowing only 8.68 hits per nine innings. As a former scout with the San Diego Padres, Tripp signed four players to professional contracts, including 2003 first round draft pick and former major league pitcher Tim Stauffer.

Tripp was the Head Coach at Delaware State University in 1999-2000 after a two-year stint at the University of South Carolina as an assistant coach. During his coaching tenure, he has coached over 20 players that have gone on to play professional baseball, including current Detroit Tigers shortstop, Adam Everett.

Tripp was a three-time first team all conference outfielder at the University of Delaware, where he was coached by legendary Coach Bob Hannah, a Wesley College graduate. The New York Mets subsequently drafted him in the 1992 Major League Baseball Draft.


BRET UNDERWOOD, Camp Coordinator
Bret Underwood is also in his fourth year as an assistant baseball coach at Wesley College, where he works with the hitters and infielders and coaching first base. Bret was a four-year starter at Delaware State University, where he was one of the most prolific hitters in school history. He ranks in the top three in hits, HR, RBI, runs and extra base hits. After completing his senior season at Delaware State, Bret signed a free agent contract with the Boston Red Sox.

Bret attended Dickinson High School in Wilmington, Delaware where he was a two-time all-state selection.
